Spring is upon us, and we are all thankful that the snow is gone. Well, maybe we are not all thankful, Zack is sad that the snow is gone. We are gearing up for some fun activites.
Joel built two deck planters this week, so we will have a graden this spring/summer. We are planting tomatos, peppers, lettuce, peas, and beans. Zack is excited to see the plants grow, he thinks it is magic!
We also started herbs in our new Aerogarden. Our basil, mint, thyme, and dill are all looking good and are almost ready for us to start using. We planted some cilantro and are waiting for it to sprout. We are waiting to see how our raspberry and rhubarb bushes did over the winter. The deer attacked them, and we are unsure if they will survive....I hope they will.
Hopefully the spring brings a good bounty of fresh vegetables and fruit!
