We are BACK!!!

So people keep asking what we did on our vacation. It really was a whirlwind of activity. But here is an overview of our time in Seattle. If you want pics, they are all up on Snapfish (www.snapfish.com), if you don't have access, let me know. I will send you an email with the password included. So here it goes:Saturday: Up at 545am (I am NOT a morning person!), shower, pack car, dress Zack, get in car, get Erin coffee (large), and drive to Madison Airport. Fly to Minneapolis, meet up with Grandma, have a layover, fly to Seattle. We then attempted to drag all our stuff thru the airport, to a taxi, and then to our hotel. We then went to the Space needle, had dinner, went up the space needle, and then back to the hotel. We were in bed EARLY!!Sunday: Change hotels...it is not as easy as it sounds! Move into our new hotel, where Joel's conference was. Walk around the area, go to Pike's Market, Aquarium, walk to piers, go on the ferry, walk around Brainbridge Island, eat some ice cream, back on the Ferry, eat dinner. (YEAH!! CRAB!!!) Go back and crash at the hotel.Monday: Get Erin more Starbucks, go see Joel get his fellowship, walk around neighboorhood, eat some lunch, take naps, attempt to swim. By attempt, I mean...I got in the pool (frigid by the way), Zack put his hand in the pool, then shook his head no. I then take him and place him in the pool with me, and then put him back out on the side, to see if he will jump to me. He decides to poop in his swimmie, and then plop down in a puddle. So I get out of the pool, pick up my lovely son, and clean him up in the bathroom. Poopy swimmies are NO FUN!! Joel and I went out to dinner with his co-workers and the consultant that is going to be working with AmFam.
Tuesday: find some breakfast and get Erin more coffee (notice a pattern here?), walk around some more, meet up with Joel. Have some lunch, go on the Underground tour of Seattle. (Seattle was destroyed by a fire, and they built over the old city) Go back to the hotel, get ready for dinner, go for a nice dinner.Wednesday: Say goodbye to Grandma, get breakfast and coffee. Pack, shop (notice another pattern?), change hotels. The boys then took a nap, while I watched Oprah...off to dinner, and we went swimming in the nice, warm, hotel pool. Zack jumps in like a pro. A few minutes later, I notice a floatie....That's right...he pooped in his swimmie AGAIN!! So out of the pool, and a quick shower. Then off to bed.Thursday: breakfast, coffee, children's museum, lunch, pacific science center, more coffee, shop, dinner, pack.Friday: Up at 8am, breakfast, catch a cab, off to the airport, fly to Minneapolis, layover, fly to Madison, drive home. We were at the airport at 10am and got home at 10pm. WOW!! What a day. We then unpacked the car and went to bed.So that is pretty much the list of what we did. Zack did wonderful on all the flights and layovers. He had his moments (as did the rest of us). But no screaming on the flights or during most of the trip. He did awesome, since most days did not include his normal two 2 hour naps. So now we are home, and are still tired and unpacking. But we are happy to be home and in our own beds!
