So we made it to the hospital at 730am this morning. We learned several things while at the hospital:
A. Zack does not like being swaddled anymore!!
B. IVs going into his hand do not make him happy!!
C. When they have to redo the IV, he gets really uphappy
D. They use a lot of tape to secure an IV to such a little hand
E. He does not like rolling hospital cribs
F. IVs coming out do not make him any happier
G. He is like grandpa...out of sedation=feed me NOW!
We were supposed to stay for about 2 hours after the procedure to make sure he was awake, alert, eating, drinking, and peeing. By the time they got him back to the room, he was awake. He wanted to eat immediately, so they gave him some goldfish-he ate 2 packs. Then he drank an entire cup of milk. So within 30 min he met all the discharge criteria and we were allowed to go home. We got back around 11am. Not too bad!! We should hopefully hear something by Monday or Tuesday. We will update when we have news!!
